Qualifications

· Certified Welder: TIG, MIG, Laser welding a plus

· Detail Oriented: Welding, Plasma Cutting, Brazing, Perform precision work, High- tolerance fixturing

· Quality Mindset: Plan and verify accuracy of work within specified tolerances.

· Experience: Ability to weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.

· Physical: Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

· Other Manufacturing Skills: Highly desired.

Responsibilities

· Weld structural components in all positions.

· Weld Aluminum, Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel and possibly other alloys

· Inspect materials or structures requiring welding and monitor processes while staying aware of overheating levels

· Operate and maintain the machines equipment

· Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or in accordance with drawings and prints

· Responsible for utilizing precision measurement equipment to verify compliance to specifications

· Must be able to operate safely in shop environment.

· Job Type: Day shift, Monday to Friday

Preferred

· Enrolled in on-going measures for certification

· Certification in SMAW and GTAW

· Certification in gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW)

· Certification in gas metal arc welding (GMAW)

· Other certifications for welding aircraft metals AWS D17.1

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
