Job description

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Analyst to support cost reporting, analysis, and invoice reconciliation in a fast-paced finance environment. This role will play a key part in monthly close activities and cost analysis to support pricing, budgeting, and operational decision-making.

This is a Temp role from April to November 2026. Must be available to start asap.

Fully Remote.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly COGS reporting, including variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods
  • Monitor material, labor, freight, and overhead cost trends; identify key cost drivers
  • Analyze product-level and customer-level margins to support pricing and cost management decisions
  • Review and approve invoices in alignment with budget guidelines
  • Reconcile invoices and investigate discrepancies
  • Support month-end close activities, including reconciliation of invoices and vendor expenses Qualifications
  • 6 months to 2 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Cost Accounting, or Finance Operations
  • Experience with cost modeling, variance analysis, or manufacturing/supply chain finance support
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate Excel proficiency required (70% of time spent in Excel): Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, formulas
  • Experience with ERP systems and BI tools preferred
  • Ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights to non-finance stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Collaborative mindset with strong cross-functional communication skills
