Job Title: Software Engineer (SWE) - Level 2 and Level 3 Location: Fort Meade, MD (All work is performed on-site in a classified facility at Fort Meade) Contract Duration: 5 years Pay Rate Range Level 2: $80.00 - $84.50/hr on W2 Level3: $95.00 - $102.11/hr on W2 Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI with Active Full Scope Polygraph

HERE'S WHAT YOU’LL DO: Level 2: The SWE Level 2 is a capable engineer who implements containerized application workflows and infrastructure automation using modern DevOps and cloud-native tooling in a classified environment. This role works closely with senior engineers, backend, frontend, and infrastructure teams to integrate services, develop deployment pipelines, and support scalable Kubernetes-native application deployments. The ideal candidate is eager to learn from senior teammates, open to working across full-stack and infrastructure boundaries, and values automation, documentation, and code reusability.

Level 3: The SWE Level 3 is a senior engineer capable of designing, implementing, and improving distributed application orchestration logic across a Kubernetes-native platform in a classified environment. This role carries architectural authority and mentorship responsibility: the successful candidate will lead the development of reusable Helm charts, GitOps templates, and deployment strategies; contribute to platform-wide architecture decisions; and guide junior engineers through design decisions and tradeoffs.

WHAT YOU NEED: Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted. Experience:
• Level 2: 7+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated progression, including meaningful hands-on experience with containerized application development and/or infrastructure automation.
• Level 3: Experience: 8+ years of software engineering experience, with majority in cloud-native, Kubernetes-based, or distributed systems contexts.
