Job Details: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals committed to designing and manufacturing cutting-edge products. The successful candidate will have the chance to make a significant impact on our operations by optimizing our manufacturing processes and designing new products. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in mechanical design engineering who is looking to take the next step in their career.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new products and systems from concept to final implementation, ensuring they meet customer requirements and company standards.
• Create and modify detailed drawings using CAD software, including 3D modeling.
• Conduct comprehensive product testing to identify potential issues and ensure the highest level of quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
• Analyze and interpret specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and descriptions to determine design factors such as size, shape, and arrangement of parts.
• Use engineering principles to solve complex manufacturing and design problems.
• Prepare and present design reviews to the team, management, and clients.
• Stay current with the latest design trends, technology, and methodologies in mechanical design engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Mechanical Design Engineer role, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software and 3D modeling.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, product design, and quality control.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain high-quality standards.
• Professional Engineering (PE) certification is a plus.
