The Position

AMEWAS is seeking a highly motivated and talented Project Analyst (NMO)-Journeyman to support Integrated Combat Environment. The salary range of this position is $78,000.00 - $100,000.00 and is commensurate with experience. This position is not eligible for remote work; on-site support is required.

A typical day as a Project Analyst (NMO)-Journeyman may include:

  • Serves as a part of the software integration team within the Next-Generation Electronic Warfare Environment Generator Management Office
  • Applies project management principles to the complete system lifecycle (research, requirements definition, design, development, implementation, testing and analysis for complex integrated hardware system environment, etc.)
  • Provides project management expertise to resolve issues within the lab with test equipment and systems under test
  • Develops and executes comprehensive test plans, procedures and analysis scripts for system evaluation/verification
  • Performs configuration management and quality assurance testing

Must-haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience assisting with planning/coordinating events, conferences and special projects
  • Experience assisting with managing projects by providing logistical support to customers
  • Experience reviewing, analyzing and updating facility documentations to keep up with the evolving capabilities
  • Experience with creating documentation/presentations to support AARDT&E facility program and project objectives
  • The ability to provide high-level administrative, financial and executive assistance in support of AARDT&E to the ECSTIM Branch
  • The ability to ensure proper documentations in accordance to polices, when requesting RDTE and NMC accounts or other software
  • The ability to obtain and maintain SAP and/or SCI access as required
  • Holds final Secret eligibility-The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance

Physical Environment And Working Conditions

The physical environment for this position requires the employee to work in an office, sitting in a cubicle or at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday. Work is physically comfortable. The employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.

The employee may be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site or near the work site. Overnight travel will be required.

The employee is required to stand, walk and/or move throughout the workday, often bending over and lifting items up to approximately 50 lbs.
