Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and identify new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, and online research
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and pass vetted opportunities to the Business Development Manager
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of outreach activity and lead status in CRM
- Research target markets, potential clients, and key decision-makers in commercial, municipal, and residential sectors
- Follow up consistently with prospects to keep Eastern Paving top of mind
- Support the BD team with scheduling site visits, meetings, and follow-up communications
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly activity targets (calls, contacts, qualified leads)
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or a customer-facing role
- Strong phone presence and communication skills — you're comfortable making a high volume of calls
- Self-starter with a competitive, goal-oriented mindset
- Ability to handle rejection and stay persistent and positive
- Basic proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office
- Interest in construction, paving, or the trades is a plus — industry experience not required
- Valid driver's license preferred
- High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree a plus
