About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join a growing U.S. business development team based in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.

This role focuses on building sales pipeline within the specialized pharmacovigilance and life sciences technology market.

As an SDR, you will identify and engage decision-makers at pharmaceutical and biotech organizations, qualify opportunities, and schedule meetings for the Business Development leadership team.

You will play a key role in expanding U.S. market presence by generating interest in three core service areas:

  • IT consulting services
  • Managed services
  • Product solutions for pharmacovigilance operations

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys prospecting, learning complex industries, and building relationships with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Outbound Prospecting: Identify and engage pharmaceutical and biotech decision-makers through targeted outreach including email, LinkedIn, and cold calling.
  • Lead Qualification: Conduct initial qualification conversations to assess company fit, business needs, and alignment with the company's services.
  • Meeting Generation: Schedule 3–5 qualified meetings per week for the Business Development team.
  • Pipeline Development: Generate 5–7 new qualified opportunities per month that move into the active sales pipeline.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records in HubSpot CRM, ensuring all activities, contacts, and opportunity stages are updated consistently.
  • Industry & Product Learning: Develop a strong understanding of the three core revenue streams and the pharmacovigilance landscape.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate the company’s value proposition to senior stakeholders while learning about their operational challenges and priorities.
  • Sales Collaboration: Partner closely with Business Development leadership to support discovery preparation and ensure smooth handoff of qualified opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales prospecting experience, preferably in pharma, life sciences, or technology solutions sales.
  • Experience and comfort in performing outbound prospecting activities through various channels, including email, LinkedIn, and cold calling.
  • Ability to engage with business decision-makers and understand their strategic priorities and business needs.
  • Demonstrated history of learning complex technical material and being able to communicate it effectively.
  • Willingness to work 1–2 days per week in the Basking Ridge, NJ office.
