Job Overview
Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a GIS upgrade initiative, with a primary focus on the inside plant equipment modeling scope. This role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering project activities in alignment with PMO standards. The Project Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders across IT and Line of Business, System Integrator, and subject matter experts to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of project scope (track focuses on the GIS>ADMS interface for inside plant model), ensuring scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives are met.
- Coordinate and govern activities performed by the system integrator, including task planning, deliverable reviews, issue resolution, and change control.
- Develop Project Charter, SOW, Cost Estimate, and Schedule for the overall project.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders which includes IT (OT, Testing, Infrastructure, Cyber Security, etc), Line of Business (Electric Operations, Asset Management, Projects & Constructions), and external partners
- Ensure project execution follows EPMO methodologies standards, templates, and reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, status reports, and executive communications.
- Facilitate working sessions, design reviews, and decision forums related to GIS data modeling, workflows, and integration impacts.
- Partner with SMEs to validate modeling approaches, data standards, and implementation readiness.
- Identify project risks and dependencies related to data quality, system integration, resource availability, and cutover activities.
- Manage project communications and ensure alignment across technical and business stakeholders.
Required Skills

Qualifications
- 10+ years of project management experience preferably with Utility background (electric, gas or combined)
- Basic understanding of OT systems (GIS, ADMS, SCADA, OMS)
- Strong understanding of project management fundamentals (scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality)
- Experience supporting system upgrades, migrations, or platform modernization efforts
- Ability to manage multiple high visibility projects simultaneously
- Ability to manage multiple projects with internal resources and external vendors
- PMP certification required
- Knowledge of Stage Gate Process is a plus
