Job Title: Healthcare Finance & Administrative Specialist / Financial Analyst (Healthcare IT)

Location: New York, NY

Work Setting: Onsite

Pay Rate: $60/hr (W2)

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday
  • 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Flexibility required to work beyond scheduled hours as needed

Job Summary

The Healthcare Finance & Administrative Specialist / Financial Analyst supports financial operations, budgeting, and administrative functions within a healthcare IT environment. This role involves managing purchase orders, monitoring invoices, supporting budget planning, and collaborating with internal teams and vendors to ensure efficient financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations

  • Prepare and process purchase orders
  • Monitor and track departmental invoices and payments
  • Resolve payment-related inquiries with vendors and internal teams

Budgeting & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain budget reports
  • Assist with budget planning and financial forecasting
  • Analyze financial data to support decision-making

Administrative Support

  • Attend meetings and provide financial updates as needed
  • Support special projects and departmental initiatives
  • Maintain documentation and reporting standards

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in:
  • Administration and office management
  • Financial analysis and reporting
  • Systems analysis and documentation
  • Data processing and management information systems

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in:
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Google Workspace
  • Ability to present information clearly to internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare or healthcare IT environments
  • Knowledge of financial systems and reporting tools
