Key Responsibilities
- Effectively prepare, distribute, and manage RFIs.
- Seamlessly distribute and track construction bulletins, RFPs, and change documentation.
- Efficiently manage the posting of addenda and modifications to plans and specifications.
- Collaborate with the Superintendent to develop and maintain detailed project schedules, keeping all stakeholders informed on progress.
- Oversee closeout activities, including managing punch lists, change orders, contracts, permits, and owner-occupancy details.
- Conduct effective project meetings by preparing and sharing agendas and meeting notes.
- Proactively manage procurement logs and the submittal process.
- Thoroughly review drawings and samples.
- Organize and run impactful meetings.
- Prepare and manage contracts, permits, and necessary approvals.
Qualifications
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; relevant certifications or equivalent experience will also be considered.
- A minimum of 3 years of management experience in 'ground-up' commercial projects, with at least 1 year in the restaurant sector.
- Comprehensive understanding of building systems and construction methods.
- Strong communication skills to interact clearly and professionally with team members, industry partners, and clients.
- Excellent financial management and mathematical skills, capable of managing all project aspects from start to finish.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and effective teamwork skills, along with the capability to work independently.
