System Logistics – Vertique, part of the Krones Group, is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer who is ready to jump into hands‑on design work and support the seamless transition of products into manufacturing.
This role is ideal for someone who is already graduated, eager to apply their knowledge, and excited to see their designs come to life on the production floor.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will
- Design mechanical assemblies and weldments for new products or product improvements
- Build engineering models to analyze performance and reliability
- Produce prototypes, tooling, and conduct performance testing
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure new designs are production‑ready
- Provide training to engineers and production personnel on new processes or designs
- Develop and maintain bills of material (BOMs), tool standards, process documentation, and updates
- Support additional engineering and continuous‑improvement tasks as assigned
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who is motivated, detail‑oriented, and ready to contribute immediately:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (must be fully completed prior to hire)
- OR 4 years of directly relevant experience
- Strong computer skills, including AutoCAD, Inventor, and Excel
- Ability to design, evaluate, and troubleshoot mechanical systems
- A strong hands‑on mentality and a desire to learn and grow within a collaborative team
