Role Description
This is a full-time, with home base in the Swedesboro, NJ area for a Field Service Biomedical Technician. The technician will be responsible for traveling to client facilities to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a broad range of medical and surgical equipment. Day-to-day tasks include ensuring equipment safety and functionality, managing maintenance schedules, performing electrical safety inspections, and documenting work completed per company protocols. The technician will also consult with clients on best practices for equipment usage and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Experience in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair
- Familiarity with Medical Equipment and Biomedical Engineering principles
- Knowledge of Electrical Safety standards and protocols
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage travel to various on-site client locations
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Prior experience on repairing medical devices
- Certification or training in medical device maintenance and repair is a plus
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required
