Job description

Medler Ferro Woodhouse & Mills, an Intellectual Property boutique law firm, is actively seeking a Mechanical or Biomedical Technical Specialist.

All candidates preferably have a BS degree in mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, or related discipline. No prior experience in a law firm is necessary, but current technical specialists or Patent Agents are encouraged to apply.

The position will work with partners and senior associates of the firm, specifically with regard to domestic and foreign patent preparation and prosecution, freedom-to-operate and patentability analyses, researching and drafting legal opinions for clients, and assisting with patent office litigation matters.

The Firm offers a 1500 billable hour/year requirement.

This is a full time in-office position, with the opportunity for hybrid work (2 days/week remote) after six months to qualifying employees.
