Contract Duration: 04/06/2026 - 06/30/2026; Historically, these roles are extended for an additional year.

Work Location: Dauphin County, Pennsylvania

Onsite Vs. Remote: Primarily Remote, can change to Hybrid

Interview Type: In-Person

Residency Requirements: Continental United States preferred; only candidates within 1.5 hours of Middletown, PA will be considered

Schedule: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week

Role Overview: The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is seeking a PMO-focused Project Manager to lead and coordinate multiple IT projects of varying complexity. This role is centered on structured project delivery, stakeholder coordination, project planning, and disciplined execution within established project management standards, procedures, templates, and methodologies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of internal and/or external staff involved in multiple IT projects of varying complexity.
  • Develop and maintain project plans and other required artifacts using PTC or other established project management standards, procedures, templates, and methodologies.
  • Coordinate with business owners and analysts to define and refine project scope.
  • Perform project management responsibilities across the full lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closing.
  • Conduct lessons learned sessions during and after projects to identify recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain productive working relationships with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key stakeholders.
  • Adhere to the PTC PMO Playbook and referenced artifacts.

Required Technical Skills

  • Advanced project management experience across IT projects of varying size and subject matter.
  • Advanced experience with integration, scope, schedule, cost, communication, vendor, and risk planning and management.
  • Advanced experience developing and maintaining project plans and delivery artifacts.
  • Advanced full lifecycle project delivery experience from initiation through closure.
  • Advanced stakeholder coordination and cross-functional communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification.
  • ServiceNow experience in Idea, Project, and Demand modules.
  • Enterprise business solutions experience, especially SAP-related projects.
  • Exposure to ITIL / ITSM practices and methodologies.
