Senior BI Engineer

Title: Senior BI Engineer Rate: $60 to $65 per hour on C2C Experience:

• 8-12+ years in Data Engineering / Business Intelligence
• 5+ years on Azure Data Platforms
• 3+ years hands-on with Azure Databricks Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models.
• Translate business requirements into effective analytical visualizations.
• Build reusable and well-structured reporting datasets.
• Develop complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and tables including time intelligence and KPIs.
• Design optimized star and snowflake schema data models.
• Troubleshoot DAX calculation issues and optimize Power BI performance using tools such as DAX Studio and Performance Analyzer.
• Work within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem and integrate data from sources including Azure SQL and Azure Synapse.
• Build and manage Power BI Dataflows and collaborate with data engineering teams, IT stakeholders, and offshore teams
