Nursing Operations Director
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to serve as the Nursing Operations Director, who will be at the forefront of enhancing patient care and optimizing branch operations. In this critical role, you will oversee the daily functions of our branch, ensuring compliance with regulations, operational efficiency, and the development of new business opportunities while managing a supportive and motivated team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of branch operations to achieve optimal performance.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care by supervising and supporting Clinical Managers.
- Work closely with the Area Director of Operations to establish revenue and budget objectives for the branch.
- Encourage clinical leadership and foster relationships among the Clinical Manager team.
- Maintain efficient office operations while enforcing safety and local regulatory standards.
- Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives by leading quarterly committee meetings and responding to patient satisfaction feedback.
- Communicate effectively with upper management for guidance and problem resolution.
- Collaborate with Sales and Account Management teams to meet admission objectives and assist in marketing strategies.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure (preferred).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare operations management.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities focused on staff motivation, training, and cohesion.
- Familiarity with quality improvement tools and reporting methods.
- Experience with OASIS assessments.
- Knowledgeable about business management practices and relevant governmental regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile liability insurance are required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Home Health or Hospice settings.
- Background in Revenue and Fiscal Management.
- Proficient in EMR systems, preferably Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
- Knowledge of CMS PDGM billing processes.
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Compensation: $93,000 - $128,000 annually, with eligibility for performance-based bonus incentives.
