Join our team as the Director of Enterprise Project Management Office, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization by leading complex, strategic projects aimed at delivering high-quality technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee project prioritization including budget allocation and scheduling.
- Assign projects to Project Managers based on their skills and workloads.
- Act as the main point of contact for project escalations, ensuring effective communication between Project Managers and Business Stakeholders.
- Manage all aspects of project management including work breakdown, scheduling, tracking milestones, and budgeting.
- Collaborate with technical PMs to manage interdependencies and ensure alignment with the enterprise strategy.
- Lead and manage a team or function within the organization, guiding managers and supervisors to achieve departmental goals.
- Develop workforce and staffing plans to guarantee sufficient resources for business initiatives.
- Manage hiring, promotions, and performance evaluations within your department.
Job-Specific Duties
- Lead the successful delivery of strategic enterprise technology initiatives, maintaining timelines and budgets.
- Ensure project activities align with the company's IT strategy and governance frameworks.
- Act as the primary liaison for all project stakeholders, including business leaders and external partners.
- Manage complex integrations with various technologies like Salesforce, Axway, and Genesys.
- Promote SAFe principles and agile practices across project teams to drive collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues while managing cross-program dependencies effectively.
- Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and vendor contract negotiations.
- Maintain a strong understanding of technical architecture, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.
- Deliver clear project updates and performance metrics to executive leadership regularly.
- Mentor and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a high-performance environment.
- Strategically manage vendor relationships to optimize project performance.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in project/program management in medium to large organizations.
- 3+ years of experience managing direct reports or 4 years managing indirect resources.
- Demonstrable experience in managing complex programs with technical components.
- Strong leadership, conflict resolution skills, and budget management experience.
- Proficient in Project Management tools such as MS Project, SmartSheet, Jira, and MS Office.
- SAFe6 knowledge is a must.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce implementations and related certifications is highly desired.
- Certifications such as Scrum Master, RTE, PMI PMP, or ITIL are a plus.
This position may require U.S. citizenship as per customer requirements, and provides a base salary range of $150,000 to $170,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
