Compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $150,000, along with an annual bonus based on qualifications and experience.

Your Responsibilities

  • Performance Integration: Feed lending performance and P&L results back into our analytics ecosystem to improve investor reporting.
  • Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track key lending metrics, such as recapture rates, marketing ROI, and pricing variance.
  • Performance Analysis: Generate and present performance reports to senior management; gather insights from loan officers to refine our strategies.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with pricing, portfolio, investor relations, and capital markets teams to ensure alignment between analysis and lending strategies as well as investor objectives.
  • Analytics Modernization: Streamline data processes, standardize definitions across systems, and implement cutting-edge analytics tools.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with IT, CRM, operations, and vendor teams to ensure data integrity and the timely delivery of insights.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Provide quick responses to unique requests from senior management and various departments.
  • Assist with additional projects and tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Finance.
  • At least one year of experience in mortgage lending analytics or capital markets analytics; strong programming candidates will also be considered.
  • Proficient in Python and SQL for data analysis and management; familiarity with machine learning techniques is a plus.
  • Experience in adapting proprietary quantitative models and integrating analytics pipelines.
  • Expertise in data cleansing, ETL processes, and extracting insights from unstructured data.
  • A solid track record in creating self-service dashboards or reporting tools (e.g., Tableau or similar).
  • Deep understanding of loan origination and servicing processes, especially in customer recapture.
  • Excellent communication skills: capable of conveying complex analytics in accessible terms for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical competencies.
  • Experience processing large datasets using Python and relevant statistical packages.
  • Familiarity with Linux environments is advantageous.
