A food manufacturing facility is seeking an experienced 3rd Shift Production Supervisor to oversee production operations, ensure compliance with food safety standards, and maintain efficient workflow. This role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of food manufacturing processes, and strict adherence to GMP and OSHA regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all 3rd shift production activities to meet daily output and quality goals
• Manage workflow and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Monitor and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, quality, and safety
• Ensure compliance with GMP, OSHA regulations, and all food safety requirements
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Oversee equipment functionality and coordinate maintenance or repairs
• Inspect product quality to meet internal standards and regulatory requirements
• Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods
• Coordinate production schedules to meet demand and optimize efficiency
• Support budgeting, resource allocation, cost control, and strategic planning
• Prepare and analyze reports on key production metrics
• Lead, train, and develop production staff to maintain a high‑performing team

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in the food manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of GMP, OSHA regulations, and food safety standards
• Deep understanding of production management and workflow optimization
• Experience with performance evaluation, budgeting concepts, and cost controls
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities
