Job Description:Client Operations Analyst

Client Operations Analysts help shape the future of service by modernizing the client experience through an elevated standard of care. The Client Service Associate assists with the development and growth of business through engaging and utilizing the full capabilities of the firm. This is a key role that requires an understanding of firm policies, procedures and firm capabilities in order to deliver the full firm to clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

Client Support

  • Strengthen and nurture client connections through consistent interaction, handling client demands, resolving questions, offering advice, and maintaining the accuracy of crucial data and documents
  • Identify and provide assistance with Firm services and solutions that are tailored to meet clients' needs, including banking services and secure, digital solutions like Morgan Stanley Online and Morgan Stanley Mobile
  • Verify authorization and authenticate the client's identity in the request processing
  • Organize and manage client accounts, including gathering client information and necessary documentation, processing money movement transactions as an example
  • Analyze client account notifications and take proper steps

Other

  • Work alongside financial consultants to craft a comprehensive business strategy and fulfill service commitments to clients
  • Assist in reinforcing the team's marketing direction through the management of marketing collateral, digital platforms, and the coordination of client events and seminars
  • Involve yourself proactively in accessible training and educational initiatives that are aligned with the firm's strategic focuses, personal growth, and staying informed about policies, procedures, and emerging platforms, in addition to committing to attending targeted monthly field service professional training calls
  • Support Financial Advisors by performing administrative functions such as managing telephone calls, organizing travel plans, scheduling client appointments, creating travel expense reports, and updating filing systems and schedules
  • Get involved in company endeavors overseen by local leadership
  • Regularly explore avenues to leverage company assets for exchanging ideas and working together with Financial Advisors

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma/Equivalency
  • College degree preferred
  • Industry knowledge is a valuable asset
  • Aspiration to earn Series 7 (GS) and Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) alongside Series 65 (RA) certifications

Knowledge/Skills

  • Skilled in computer operations and well-acquainted with the functionalities of Microsoft Office programs
  • Outstanding writing capabilities paired with excellent interpersonal and client service skills
  • Delivers work with precision by leveraging superior organization skills and strategic task prioritization abilities
  • Skilled at engaging in cooperative efforts with team members and promoting unity within the group
  • Proficiency in navigating a rapidly evolving and fast-paced work environment
  • Driven by goals, internally motivated, and focused on producing results
