Hiring a Flux Core Welder in Greencastle, PA

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Flux Core Welder to join our team. This role requires expertise in welding and fabricating custom parts, particularly pressure vessels used in shipyards or the boating industry. Successful candidates must pass a weld test to ensure they meet the high standards required for this position.

Shift: 1st shift Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm

Pay Rate: $20-$21/hour to start

Responsibilities

  • Weld and fabricate custom parts using Mig/Flux welding techniques.
  • Work with blueprints to create accurate and high-quality welds.
  • Understand and perform jig work as needed.
  • Cut parts and metals as part of the fabrication process.
  • Prepare work independently in a small machine shop environment.
  • Ensure that welded parts are leak-proof.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of GREENCASTLE, PA. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
