Cartridge Xchange is seeking a highly motivated Outside B2B Sales Representative to grow new business in New Jersey.

This is a field-based, business-to-business sales role for someone who enjoys prospecting, meeting decision-makers face to face, building a pipeline, and turning consistent daily activity into long-term income.

We have been serving businesses throughout New Jersey for over 27 years, providing toner, ink, and related print supply solutions with a strong focus on service, reliability, and relationship-building.

This role is best suited for a salesperson who is self-directed, coachable, accountable, and comfortable spending the majority of the day in the field.

Earnings potential

Actual earnings will depend on activity, pipeline development, and production.

What you will do

  • Prospect for new business by making daily in-person visits to local companies
  • Build relationships with business owners, office managers, purchasing contacts, and other decision-makers
  • Generate opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and follow-up
  • Qualify prospects by identifying printer environment, number of printers, current ordering habits, and supply usage
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline through consistent follow-up
  • Enter sales activity, notes, and next steps into CRM consistently and accurately
  • Work a structured sales process and stay accountable to daily and weekly activity goals
  • Close new business and grow long-term customer relationships

What we are looking for

  • 3–5+ years of outside B2B sales experience preferred
  • Proven ability to prospect and open new accounts
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable with cold outreach and face-to-face prospecting
  • Highly self-motivated and coachable
  • Strong follow-through and personal accountability
  • Able to work independently and maintain activity without constant supervision
  • CRM discipline and comfort using sales tools
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
  • Solid work history with explainable job changes

Preferred background

Experience selling into businesses in any of the following is a plus:

  • copier / printer / office products
  • uniform or facility services

  • telecom / IT / managed services
  • other B2B route or outside sales environments
