Job description

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in State College, PA. Candidate must have strong proficiency in Medical Device Quality Management Systems and design‑change processes to be considered for this role.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $41/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities Include

  • Overseeing design‑change activities to ensure alignment with Medical Device Quality Management System requirements.
  • Managing documentation, reviews, and approvals associated with design modifications.
  • Coordinating with cross‑functional teams to maintain compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Monitoring quality processes to ensure adherence to regulatory and industry standards.
  • Supporting audits, assessments, and readiness activities related to design‑change controls.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen quality‑system effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

  • Holds a degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • 8–10 years of background working with medical device quality systems.
  • Demonstrates strong capability in managing design change processes within regulated environments.
  • Exhibits proven understanding of Medical Device Quality Management System standards and compliance practices.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $41.00 per hour
