Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Associate Director role located in Parkville, MD. The Associate Director will play a pivotal role in the management and strategy of departmental initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include overseeing program development, managing budgets, supervising staff, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, providing leadership, and addressing challenges with innovative solutions.

  • Leadership and management skills, with experience supervising teams and overseeing strategic initiatives
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, including the ability to manage budgets and timelines effectively
  • Proficiency in communication, relationship building, and stakeholder collaboration
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess challenges and implement effective solutions
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a focus on fostering an inclusive environment
  • Master’s degree in a related field preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in higher education, program development, or nonprofit management is a plus
