Salary: $110,000.00 USD Annually - $140,000.00 USD Annually

Description

The Plant Quality Program Manager is responsible for supporting customer programs executed at the North Western Virginia facility. This role is focused on developing and sustaining critical customer relationships, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and driving effective program execution from planning through delivery.

Relocation Assistance is available for candidates outside of a commutable area.

This Job Will Have The Following Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with key customers.
  • Understand customer expectations and communicate requirements across internal teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Production, Logistics, and Service groups to ensure aligned program execution.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of customer programs.
  • Maintain all required documentation, including value stream plans, technical files, and customer‑specific program materials.
  • Identify program and product risks and implement mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate the collection and analysis of performance data, including customer scorecards.
  • Maintain and publish performance dashboards for customers.
  • * Support field service teams with coordination of site repair activities and issue resolution.
  • Review contractual quality requirements and develop appropriate quality implementation plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve “green” status on customer scorecards.
  • Participate actively in monthly quality forums and present program performance updates.
  • Analyze performance metrics, highlight trends, and propose actionable improvements.
  • Review lessons learned and communicate recommendations to leadership to strengthen future programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • Experience participating in internal and external quality audits.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.
  • Strong project management, communication, and cross‑functional coordination skills.
  • Proficiency with problem‑solving methodologies such as 8D, PDCA, 5‑Why, and Cause & Effect tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
