Video Editor III

Akkodis is seeking a Video Editor III for a Contract with a client in Culver City, CA. Candidate must have strong expertise in post‑production QC to ensure flawless audio, video, and asset delivery for original content.

Rate Range: $57/hour to $59/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Video Editor III job responsibilities include

• Oversees master‑level QC for audio and picture assets to ensure accuracy and compliance for original content.
• Performs the creation and delivery of archival, distribution, and servicing media assets.
• Provides editorial support to maintain content standards across all release territories.
• Screens content for cultural sensitivities and prepares detailed S&P documentation.
• Maintains asset availability data within internal systems to support real‑time operational needs.
• Evaluates existing workflows and contributes recommendations to improve efficiency and quality.

Required Qualifications

• Candidate must have a college education.
• Candidate will have 7+ years of hands‑on experience as a QC or Media Operator within the Media & Entertainment industry.
• Candidate must have advanced knowledge of post‑production and finishing workflows, including mastery of audio/video formats, codecs, and HDR standards.
• Candidate must possess strong operational proficiency with Mastering and NLE tools such as ColorFront, ProTools, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.

Pay Details: $57.00 to $59.00 per hour
