I am looking for a camera operator based in Melbourne to help film a short-form street interview series. The concept is simple. I will be approaching people in public and asking a single question. Each interview will last around 20–40 seconds and will be filmed vertically for social media.

I need someone who can both film and edit the footage.

Filming will take place in public areas around the Melbourne CBD such as State Library, Federation Square, or Queen Victoria Market. Sessions will usually run for about 2–3 hours.

Responsibilities

• Film street interviews in vertical format
• Ensure stable framing and clear audio
• Transfer and organise the footage
• Edit short clips suitable for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook
• Add simple captions where needed

What I am looking for

• Someone located in Melbourne
• Experience filming people or interview-style content
• Ability to edit short-form social media videos
• Reliable and comfortable working in public environments

This project may become ongoing if the series develops well.
