Job description

Roof Penetration Housing (RPH) is a dynamic, rapidly expanding leader in the commercial building products industry, trusted by architects, engineers, contractors, and building owners on a wide range of critical projects-from hospitals and data centers to K-12 schools. Our innovative, engineered solutions prevent roof and wall leaks and ensure storm shelters and safe rooms meet code requirements and protect occupants during severe weather events.

In 2025, RPH delivered roughly year-over-year revenue growth of nearly 2x, with momentum continuing to build heading into 2026. We're experiencing rapid expansion across both our New Jersey and Texas locations, and we're excited to grow our powerhouse team as we continue setting new benchmarks for performance, safety, and success in commercial construction.

To keep up with our growth, we are seeking two organized, detail-oriented, and flexible Project Coordinators to shepherd large custom projects through the RPH design process and play a general support role across the organization from customer service to fulfillment. Shepherding custom projects will require a strong communicator, capable of collaborating with RPH internal team members (e.g., Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, Fulfillment, Operations) and external partners (e.g., engineering, manufacturing) to develop and maintain critical information related to the design and production of each project.

About the Role

This role is a fulltime, salaried role that directly reports to the General Manager. This role will be hybrid (Tuesday - Thursday, 3-5 days in office) where day-to-day work will occur in the New Jersey office locations.

Travel is expected for this position up to 5% which is anticipated to be overnight for company events.

About You

You think like a builder. You're energized by growth, problem-solving, and figuring things out as you go. You care deeply about doing great work and hitting goals. You track progress, stay focused, and hold yourself to high standards. You work well across teams, communicate clearly, and know when to take the lead or lend a hand. You don't wait for perfect conditions; you move forward with purpose.

Essential Functions

  • Shepherd Large Custom Projects: Act as the point person in ensuring that projects are reliably, completely, and accurately transitioned from sales to design to fulfillment.
  • New Project Closing/Intake: Work with RPH Sales during final stages of the sale process to generate the Project Dashboard and drawings for submittal signoffs.
  • Design Process Management: Work with the RPH design team to develop production drawings and the assigned manufacturer to make any modifications required before releasing the project to production.
  • Internal Coordination: Maintain active log of projects in the design phase and communicate regularly to ensure that no project is dropped from Sales to Design or from Design to Fulfillment.
  • External Coordination: Maintain active log of projects in the design phase for each manufacturer and ensure that all necessary files are posted in the appropriate folder for review and signoff.
  • Customer Service: Receive training and act as backup Customer Service Representative in the event of an absence or unusually high call volume.
  • General Operations Support: We anticipate further complexity in our operations going forward and believe that the Project Coordinator can play a key role in supporting our operations team in handling these requirements (e.g., tracking, documentation, internal/external communications). Core Requirements
  • Experience in a relevant commercial building products environment (commercial roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical).
  • Demonstrated project coordination/project management experience, including managing multiple workstreams and cross-functional handoffs (Sales → Design → Fulfillment).
  • Strong ability to build and maintain project dashboards/trackers, manage documentation, and ensure accurate file control for internal teams and external manufacturers.
  • NetSuite experience highly preferred, QuickBooks Enterprise experience is a plus. Details
  • The starting compensation range for this position is $70,000 - 85,000 USD and will be determined based upon a candidate's experience and location.
  • The typical working hours for this position are Monday - Friday, Tuesday - Thursday, 8 am - 4:30 pm EST.
  • This job position is exempt to overtime as determined by the FLSA standards.
  • Travel is expected for this position up to 5% which is anticipated to be overnight for company events. At RPH, we believe in taking care of our team on and off the job. That's why we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
  • Employer covered premiums for Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance - 100% covered for employees, so you can focus on your health without the extra cost.
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan & Employer Contribution - RPH contributes a fixed percentage of your pay automatically alongside your contributions to investing in your long term success.
  • Paid Time Off & Holidays - Enjoy a healthy work-life balance with generous PTO and paid holidays.
  • Life & Disability Insurance - Coverage to help protect you and your loved ones.

RPH is proudly an equal opportunity employer, and we are committed to hiring a diverse workforce. If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please submit the accommodation request. Veterans are encouraged to apply. RPH participates in E-Verify.
